Notice of Permanent Practice Closure — December 18, 2026
Dear Patients and Friends,
After much thought and consideration, we have made the difficult decision to permanently close East Point Foot and Ankle, effective Friday, December 18, 2026.
As we prepare to close our doors, we find ourselves reflecting on the many years we have spent caring for our patients and serving this community.
When we began this journey, our goal was to provide compassionate, personalized medical care and to build a practice where patients felt comfortable, respected, and valued. Along the way, we have been fortunate to meet so many wonderful people and develop lasting relationships.
For many of you, we have had the privilege of being part of your lives for years. We have shared stories, laughter, challenges, and accomplishments. These are the moments that have made our work so rewarding, and they are the memories we will carry with us.
We cannot adequately express how grateful we are for the trust you have placed in us. Caring for you has been much more than a profession; it has been a privilege.
Information Regarding Our Closure
Our final day of operation will be Friday, December 18, 2026.
We encourage patients who require ongoing medical care to begin making arrangements to transition to another healthcare provider.
Patients who need assistance obtaining or transferring medical records may contact our office at 413-525-5200 before our closing date.

DR. KAYLA O'MALLEY
Dr. O'Malley is a foot and ankle surgeon licensed in both Massachusetts and Connecticut. She is board qualified in forefoot, rearfoot, and reconstructive ankle surgery. She is also board certified by the American Board of Podiatric Medicine.
DR. ELIZABETH SCHWARTZ
Dr. Schwartz is a foot and ankle surgeon who has been a part of the community for over 10 years. She is licensed in both Massachusetts and Connecticut. She is certified by the American Board of Podiatric Medicine and is qualified in forefoot, rearfoot, and reconstructive ankle surgery.
